About Cosy Cavies ~ Last Site Update 17.07.15
Hello! My name is Martha [Violet] and I run Cosy Cavies. All you ever wanted to know about my cavies will be in this website! I breed Black Himalayans and Chocolate & Beige dalmatians. I also have a couple of satin black himalayans, which I am hoping will come on nicely too!
My himalayan stud started off with Cookie and Liquorice, both from Pete Wardman in 2004. They produced my first pure bred babies, and started me off on this journey! From there, I have never strayed from himalayans, and I don't think I ever will. Early 2009 I lost Liquorice and Cookie quite close together. These were very sad moments as they both meant so much to me and the himalayans I now own.
My dalmatian stud started off with a dalmatian sow called shimmer and a chocolate boar called Rolo in late 2005. Both have sadly passed on now, but they too were special. Since then I have gotten some very lovely babies, and some very very nice stock in from Jan Alston and Oliver Joyce, who have the most wonderful dalmatians I've ever seen. I am very lucky to call them friends. I have had numerous show able babies born, which is always a plus. The variety is beautiful whether show able or not, which makes breeding them even more enjoyable!
